About the Swirl collection
The SWIRL collection explores the jewellery adornment quality and tests the connection between parametric design and the potential of digital fabrication methods. The filiform structures are generated in the virtual environment and are 3d printed into a positive mold that is used in a state-of-the-art silver casting technique.

An opulent jewellery, the XL1 transparent neckpiece is algorithmically generated in the digital environment and is materialized by stringing together variable laser cut two-dimensional sections. The shape is obtained by the fluid deformation of a square section through flattening, rotation and elongation processes to generate a symmetrical shape. Is not recommended to be wear on bare skin.

The shape is obtained by the fluid deformation of a triangular section that has added an inner hollow to bring new reflections to the object. Adding a colour gradient over the soft geometry enhance the formal variation.
